Lusi, bassista italiano, has endorsed this instrument.
One of the first Masterbuilt instruments by Liuteria Cesarini, the C-Jazz is a 4-string fretless, without references. A bass hard enough to play, but pure ... It has a first choice ebony fretboard, the truss rod is two-way, accessible from the headstock. Golden Age pickups, they are excellent vintage single coil aftermarket prodiced in the USA.
At the nut head the width of the handle is minimal, about 37mm, the external strings are therefore extremely marginal. The handle is therefore very comfortable, even for a small hand.
The bass has an alder body and radial maple neck, the headstock is thicker than Fender (22mm against Fender 18-19mm) ). These thicknesses mean that the ebony fretboard (8mm thick) does not prevent the vibration of the handle / pallet system, making the whole instrument very resonant.
In the video Lusi plays the C-Jazz in an interpretation of "The Chicken" (Jaco Pastorius).
